~From Roman times until the late 19th century, people brushed with urine. It worked well, but the toothpaste companies gave the practice a bad name.

Yeah, flossing and brushing daily will help the surface stains, but you really need to start with having your teeth cleaned at a dental office. You'll see a difference for real, crest white strips are over the counter whitening material that you simply place on your teeth for a certain lenght of time for maybe a week or two to get a color change. This is a lower concentration than the ones that are offered at a dental office so it'll take longer than a treatment from a professional. Aqua fresh makes a really good whitening tooth paste called extreme clean whitening and I love it, people always commit on the shade of my teeth. good luck

Brushing will help, but I have found that Crest WhiteStrips are a good way to whiten your teeth inexpensively. Your teeth may become more sensitive after whitening, but the sensitivity is not permanent. I have found that the results last for a while so you don't have to continuously use them to maintain the whiteness. If you want to talk to your dentist, there is a procedure they can do in the office in about an hour that is guaranteed to whiten your teeth several shades. I think it is pretty pricey, but it might be worth checking in to.

Crest Whitestrips are good, if you dont have any dental work on the front teeth. It wont whiten dental work, so you would end up with patchy places on your teeth, if you do have front dental work. Its also a surface whitener, I think, so its a bit of a waste of money, in my opinion.
I use colgate platinum toothpaste whenever I can find it. It has sodium (salt) and peroxide in it.
How to use peroxide or just table salt. Just add a little salt to your toothpaste, sprinkle it on, or whatever, and it will act as a surface abrasive, and its very safe, loads of whitening toothpastes use it.
Another way is using hydrogen peroxide. Just, when youre done brushing, rinse your brush and dip it into a cap of peroxide, and brush again. Its a good safe whitener, and cheaper than buying the premixed pastes. Just dont swallow it, lol.
Then you can just get the cheapie toothpaste, and not waste money every month. Most stains are on the surface, also.
Oh yeah and dont drink as much dark fluids, to help your teeth stay white. Drink clear fluids, and plenty of milk, and your teeth will look beautiful!

Results from tooth paste are totally insignificant the best way to whiten your teeth is by using Carbamide Peroxide, this is what dentists actually use and charge £300 per treatment.
We sell this for home use for around £20 and we also sell Laser kits. If you would like to know more please e mail me. or visit www.toothwhitening4all.com
Laser kits produce immediate results and they are inexpensive.
Even if you have not taken care of your teeth you will get amazing results. Just be carefull when parting money with a dentist, its cheaper to do your own at home we supply dentists with the same gels.

Mix baking soda, peroxide and splenda or nutrasweet and cake it on your toothbrush and brush for one to two minutes after each meal. Stop drinking coffee, cola, grape juice or wine and/or smoking.Ask your dentist to make a mold of your teeth and give you some whitening product it's expensive though.
