I get about 8 hours, otherwise I can barely function. My wife on the other hand gets only about 5 hours a night and its perfect for her. They say the average person NEEDS 8 hours a night, but some people just don't seem to need that much.

I get about an average of 7 hours a sleep every night.

But it isnt so much about how many hours of sleep I get but the time I go to sleep and the time I get up. My internal clock tells me it's time to go to sleep about 11pm-12am and I naturally wake up about 6-7am. If I go to bed too late, I still wake up at the same time and I'm tired all day. Or if I get up late then I have a head ache all day and I feel groggy all day. :)

I sleep about 10 hours, but that is because I don't get good solid sound sleep.
