may I ask what was the circumstances that caused you to be able to get them. Was it covered by your insurance? How was the whole process. I have peridontal disease and want to get my teeth pulled and just have false teeth. I am in constant pain. Any advice is appreciated.

I am a dental assistant and I never beat around the bush with patients considering dentures. They are not fun! They will never be like having normal teeth, but when you are dealing with decaying teeth or periodontal disease they are sometimes your only option. There are cheap places out there to get dentures, but remember You get what you pay for. If you pay for a $400.00 denture, thats what you will get. In my office we are more expensive than other places but we give 110% to our patients and help them all the way. But do not have unrealistic expectations or expect the same results as friends or family. Every person is different as is every mouth. Dentures are really just for looks, dont expect them to function as normal teeth. Even if Uncle Bob or your best friends mother says they can eat anything they want, this doesnt mean you will be able to. Good luck and feel free to contact me if you have anymore questions.

I had the same problem and most of my front teeth came out. Needless to say I was shocked when I started losing my front teeth cuz I'm 15. I got the rest pulled last Tuesday, but no dentures yet. We don't have insurance that covers dental and not enough money to pay for pulling my teeth and dentures too, so I'll be without teeth a while. I heard a place called affordable dentures has decent prices but I really don't know. My mom's checkin it out. Far as getting them pulled, I was really nervous cuz I'm scared of dentists anyway, but it wasn't that bad. They gave me a pill to take like an hour before my appointment so I wouldn't be so scared. It didn't take long at all, not like I thought. I had 15 teeth taken out and got some stitches. They gave me pain pills to take the first few days. I'm feeling better now, but not "normal" yet. just make sure you have a very reputable dentist. if you make this leap, you need to be very sure. my husband had all of his teeth pulled at 23. the dentist messed up, insurance got their money back, but we didn't get ours. 2 years later, he was able to get teeth. be careful!

Get dental surgery in India.Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as all surgery is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.

my cousin got her complete dental surgery through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps.
