I had a dog too.. who kept on vomitting and refused to eat..She died recently..
but force feeding is the best way to do, and let your dog drink water with oral rehydrations salts.. you can use droppers..
but this will not assure you that your dog will be able to survive, sorry to say.. there is a possiblitiy your dog
will die

if you still have not taken it to the vet and he is drinking water and vomiting DO SO NOW your dog is in a dangerous and life threatening condition and to be honest if you don't know that you shoudl take your dog to the vet when it is vomiting from not eating anything then perhaps you need to get a dog manual as this is basic pet owner stuff.

I hate to say it but if you are sure that is hasn't gotten in to anything it wasn't supposed to it could be Parvo.... Is it acting sick other than throwing up? how often is it vomiting? you need to get it to a vet if it is. Parvo is hard to treat (even at the vets) and is usually deadly. ( sorry ) Parvo can kill a dog quickly! Treatment can be very expensive. How old is the dog? Has it had all of its shots?

I would think the answer to that is obvious. The poor thing needs to be taken to the vet. Animals a smart about their bodies, in that when they are ill, they tend to stop eating and drinking. Why put in something that isn't going to stay there.
Please take care of your dog - call your vet or area animal hospital and have him seen before it is too late.

Does he seem to be sensitive when you touch his abdomen? Has he had diarrhea? How frequently and for how long has he been vomiting? He could have a blockage, have gotten into a toxic substance, just have an upset tummy, have bloat.... and on and on and on. If he has been vomiting frequently for more than a few hours or if you think he has ingested something he shouldn't have or if he seems to be in pain, then I would take him to an emergency clinic tonight.

there's a flap on your oesophagus which flips from edge to edge to place air down into the lungs , and foodstuff and drink down into the tummy . in basic terms God must be dumb adequate to purpose to run the two issues contained in direction of a similar pipe , yet there you circulate . If that's no longer working now , or in basic terms partly working now , or is mis-formed and would not make a seal , then as he eats / beverages , he will breathe a number of that down into his lungs , from the place he tries to cough it out back . Get your Vet to envision it out . Left untreated = Chest an infection , observed via pneumonia .

PeptoBismol is great for dogs, if they won't drink it plain try mixing it with some milk or whipped cream. Also if you just brown ground beef and mix it with rice this calms their stomach. If the dog still is sick and will not eat I would definately see a vet ASAP.

Take him to the vet NOW. If no vets are available, I'm sure there's an animal hospital ER somewhere. If not, take him to a regular ER.

Lets think for a moment ...If your child was acting in the same way..What would you do?
I would hope that you would take your child to a doctor.
You are the only protector your dog has.. He is totally reliant on your love and common sense.
