Ghillie laces and formal shoes?

Is it acceptable to have ghillie laces with regular formal tuxedo shoes with highland wear?

I think you will be a trend-setter. It would be perfectly acceptable in the Highland communities I have visited in Canada. Good Luck !

I think so, granted they are god looking laces and not frayed or anything like that. Just make sure they are dress ghillies and not dance ghillies b/c your feet might hurt after awhile (not good arch support, you know). I'm not 100% sure the niticable difference, but I'll ask my boyfriend. He'll know.
