What does this control? His doctor gave up on him, how do I find a new one. What can I expect from this?

(As I read a bit there, I see it may be kinda tough for you to read, but you need information, so read there if you can. If not, just know it's there.)

The people in support groups for almost any condition have been through it, and have lots of resources available to help.

If he is disabled in any way, apply for any aid available in your state. Sometimes aid for children is available independent of parents' income. Check. This can help you get to a better doctor if you are uninsured or underinsured.

Call the school district. If there is a possibility that this will interfere with his education, they are required to do certain things.

If your insurance plan includes hospital coverage, or he has been in the hospital, or even had tests at a hospital, try to find a medical social worker there. These people are angels, and they seem to know everything! God bless them!

Email me if you like, I've had a very sick kid and know how hard it can be at first, but you'll learn your way around the system in no time, I promise. You are his advocate, and it must become your 1st job.

Asympomatic cyst is not treated and symptomatic cyst is treated by decompression.
Guarded prognosis.
