Yes. Catholic Churches sit on land that that was given to them, or that was lawfully purchased. So that is their right to be there.

Also Catholic Churches are built where they are wanted. The Catholic congregation exists prior to the building of the parish, so the Catholic Native Americans obviously wanted the Church there.....after all where better to put the Church of the SACRED Heart than Wounded Knee, which as you said is sacred ground for Native Americans?
