In the end, God will judge us all according to the 10 commandments. If you have violated them, and we all have, you have offended a pure and perfect God. So, sin is = breaking of God's law. Payment is required. A payment so high that we cannot fulfill it. So, God, in all His grace and glory, sent His son to be the sacrifice. The perfect sacrifice.
So, no. God didn't enjoy seeing his creation crudcify perfection. God did this because He knows that we would never live up to that perfection and He wants to save us. We can't do it on our own.
Works will get you nowhere, if you don't believe that Jesus is who he claimed to be.
God is not belittled here by Christianity. A true Christian will realize that they are not a good person by nature and that they would never go to heaven had it not been for God sending Jesus. So a true Christian is appreciative for something that they would never have done on their own.

God allowed Christ to die because in order for us to be purified enough to enter heaven, a perfect sacrifice must be made. Since we are so messed up as people, we cannot offer such a sacrifice. But Christ was perfect. He never sinned and had no blemish. Therefore, Christ SACRIFICED HIMSELF. God allowed Him to die so that we may live. However, on the third day after His death, God raised Jesus, His son, from the grave. Jesus is alive today. By allowing Jesus to die, God DID win over sin and we are offered an eternal life in heaven with Him, just as He wanted.

First of all, Jesus told me not to curse people, but to bless those who curse me.
Secondly, Jesus' death was a self-sacrifice, and it's not like God the Father forced Jesus to. Jesus knew that this is what he had to do, so he did it. Throughout history, man has seen noble self-sacrifice as one of the most selfless and respectable ways to die. And if you can't see that, then you're a blind man. He wanted to give us the way to eternal life, so he did, through the shedding of his blood.
I hope I've helped clear things up!

God had to let Jesus die for our sins to give us a way to get to heaven. God is very just and the "punishment had to fit the crime" we are in no way able to pay for our sins only the son of God is "enough" to do that. God IS "all powerful and all winning". In sending Christ to die for our sins he gave the ENTIRE world a way to have eternal life. Now Jesus is alive at Gods right hand....how is God not awesome for doing that?

According to the King James Bible Christ had to die so we may be saved of our sins, And who so ever believeth in Christ shall have everlasting life. The Christ child was sent so we as Christians would have a chance to go to heaven. And all it takes is to believe that Christ died to save our souls.

Well, we believe that Jesus suffered for the sins of everyone on Earth. He suffered so we didn't have to. I don't understand how you think Christians belittle God. And we respect your religion and you calling our bible "false doctrines" isn't respecting our religion. It's kinda hard for me to explain it. But I think we all have the same God. Just different names for Him. Whether it's Allah or Budda or Joe. He saves us from Hell and the sins we commit and as long as you believe, that's all that matters.

JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED, FOR THE SINS OF MAN...THAT WE WOULD BE FORGIVEN BY THE FATHER. HE KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING, AND HE FORGAVE HIS BETRAYER.
HE DIED SO THAT WE COULD RECEIVE EVERLASTING LIFE. HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD THREE DAYS AFTER HE WAS ENTOMBED, AND GOD RAISED HIM INTO HEAVEN. HE
WILL COME AGAIN TO JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD.
A CHRISTIAN WILL NOT CURSE YOU FOR ASKING SUCH A QUESTION. I AM DELIGHTED TO SHARE MY BELIEF WITH YOU. I DO NOT JUDGE YOU FOR YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEF.
THERE IS ONLY ONE WHO HAS EARNED THE RIGHT TO JUDGE, AND THAT IS GOD.
GOD IS ALL POWERFUL, AND WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND HIS PLAN....BUT HE KNOWS WHEN THE TIME WILL BE RIGHT TO END THE SUFFERING HERE ON EARTH. MAN HAS CAUSED THIS SUFFERING, AS HE DID ON THAT DAY ON CALVARY. GOD IS THE ANSWER. PRAISE JESUS CHRIST. THANK YOU.

You have no idea what you are talking about. If God saved Jesus there would be no salvation for any of mankind. That is what Jesus is all about. "You shall call His name 'Jesus' for He shall save His people from their sins." Stick to Islam, it has no similarity to Christianity and you look foolish trying to act like you know what you are talking about.

Because it was God's will that Christ die to pay the penalty for our sins so that we could be holy and pure in God's sight. That's what Jesus came to Earth to do.

Ah, but the scriptures say that Jesus came into the earth TO DIE FOR the sins of Mankind. In other words, his ultimate purpose from day one was to die for the very people who killed him.
It is a profound and unbelievable reality - God send his son, himself, in the form of a man, lowering himself not just to become a human but to become one that died as a criminal. That is weakness and frailty to the world's eyes. But the profound thing is, God becomes nothing in order that people can be raised up to heaven.
You see, christians believe that there is not one thing a person can do to 'be good enough'. No matter how good a person is, no matter how hard a man tries, they will always fall short. Their sins of the past cannot be undone. It is a road that can only lead to death, for the price of guilt is death.
Knowing this, God sent Jesus, the final word, so that he would pay the ransom demand upon humanity. Instead of mankind dying in sin Jesus took our place, died with our sin on him. He dies, we go free. Because Jesus conquered death and rose to life again, everyone who accepts this ransom will be made clean and free of sin and also take part in this rising to life. They do not earn heaven. They are gifted with heaven if they choose it.
So you are right in one sense, the God of the christians seems weak and has made himself lower and even died as a crimiinal - but isn't that true strength for God? To go to the place that is most difficult, to pay the ultimate price for the sake of us?
The cross is offense. It shos how ugly our sins are, and the price of paying for them. When we look to the cross we see that the price of paying for them was costly, and that only the innocent blood of one who is fully God and fully man could pay for it. Even if everyone tried to stop Jesus from dying, he would have willingly gone to die anyway, because that was his ultimate purpose.
It is easy for a God to smite the earth and cause great things to happen, but how difficult is it for a God to watch his beloved creation die? And how difficult is it for a God to become a man and die for them? That is true bravery, to be willing to be weak so that others might be saved.
In a sense, there was no question - when you have a loved one who is in danger, you forsake your life's safety in order that they may be saved, no matter how weak you have to make yourself. That is the God of Love, the God of grace. That is a truly strong and brave God.
He who humbles himself will be exalted. But he who lifts himself up will fall. Read Philippians 2:5-11 and read Luke 15, especially verses 11-32 to see something of God's heart in saving people by the cross.
