Do you think a woman is asking for trouble when she wears a really, really short skirt or a tight tight top? Basically, when a woman decides to wear anything other than baggy attire is she asking for unwarranted sexual attention and lewd remarks from the opposite sex?

That is blaming the victim, but if you dangle a pork chop infront of a hungry dog, what sort of reaction would you recieve? Rape is an under-reported crime in Mexico because the police tend to say 'that girl was asking for it by dressing like that'. This is totally unacceptable. It's one thing to wolf whistle at a hot woman, quite another to sexually assualt her. She should be mindful of what reaction she will get from what she wears, but hopefully not live in fear of horny men making unwanted comments. Some guys are pigs and will harrass any woman no matter how she looks, what she wears, even if she's actually nasty.

No not trouble, fun probably but not trouble.
Sometimes my wife likes to wear very skimpy cloths when we go out. She gets lots of attention and has lots of fun. But almost never does anyone get out of line, pushy or rude. Often men actually become very protective of her and make sure she can flirt and flash as much as she wants with no fear at all. It's all done in the spirit of a good time. And a good time it often is for all.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where women are seen as sexual beings. If a woman wears a rather revealing shirt/bottom, she is asking for some form of attention. she can't expect a man not to respond to that. If she did not want the attention, she would not wear the kind of outfits that get attention.

Remember, not all men are like that, but there are a fair amount of them that are! It's a tough world eh?

because men are aroused visually the attn. is most certainly not UNWARRANTED although it can be ENTIRELY unWANTED. you think this is why they did not make a movie called WHAT MEN WANT!that movie would have been about 5 min. long. any guy that says different is lying to get what they want!-lol

I don't believe she is asking for it, though I do believe that on a sub-conscious level, she is probably yearning for the attention afforded to her by wearing such apparel. Some (and I don't mean all) females wear that attire in order to illicit those actual responses by men. But, men need to realize that not all woman want those kinds of advances..... they need to be more descreet in their actions and words in order not to offend.

Well at least she can't be complaining if people (namely men) stare at her. I mean take it from a man's point of view. If you see a woman who is showing off her body what do you expect you'll do?
a. Look away and avoid her
b. Stare at her
Btw i could have sworn this question was aimed at guys? hmm... (cough) gorgeous

I still get unwarranted attention if I'm in sweats and a P.E. shirt. It's all you nastys out there that like that grungy look.
