It's hard to give a good answer to a question when you can't understand what the person is asking. No, I'm not an English teacher, but i do have respect for other people, and I'm not so lazy as to not be able to type out complete words.

The most likely reason they do that is because they are to lazy to spell out a whole word or because they are use to typing the way they speak, therefore they think that it is normal.

Well... there's always that competitive streak in everyone where they HAVE to be the first answer=)
That & to skip the time wasted on performing the "spell check."
It's just plain laziness if you ask me. Though the spell check is not as reliable as you think... they are clueless to some words & I'm a little disappointed they didn't include a grammar check as well because there're quite a few questions here that could use that feature, lol.

Clearly, they take no pride in their skills, and have no respect for anyone else.

What other reason could there be? After all, we ALL went to school!

Not trying to be mean because I am not, but maybe they mess up. Did you ever think about that or maybe they talk like that or they are from the country like me.
