I also need to know what is the price of the course?And does this include my license? I would like to go to Roadway. DO they have a program? I have a good driving record.

The easiest and least expensive way would be to go to work for SWIFT, CRST, or some major carrier that takes students and will pay for the school, the pitfall will be that you must work for them for X number of time till your free to seek other opportunities, if you wish to pay for it, it's about $3000.00+ or - but then you will have to work for an OTR (over the road) carrier any way, getting local work straight out of school is very,very rare unless you know somebody inside, but to be honest I think being under a trainers wing for a while is a big benefit for so many reasons. the main thing at first dont get dicouraged, students always start at the bottom of pay but as years pass your pay will be there for sure!

Roadway requires alot of experience and it's a union shop.
Alot of companies offer free training if you agree to work for them for one year.
If not, check into a school, look in the yellow pages.
