My husband & I stayed at the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club next door in May. We opted not to stay at teh Surf Club because it is still under construction & we did not want the construction noise. However, we did spend a little time looking around at the Surf resort. it had a nicer mini market than the Ocean Club & also had ping pong tables, etc. There were more families with young kids at this resort than the Ocean Club & the pool was set up more for children. Beach access is currently through the Ocean Club next door due to the construction, but not inconvenient. Overall, a nice resort if you don't mind a little construction. However, I would stay at the Ocean Club until it is over. you have access to the amenities at all three Marriott resorts, regardless of which you choose.
Have fun.

It depends. When do you want to go? That minor detail aside, here are some possibilities for you(I have been to these Resorts so my opinion is stated below):
1- Tamarijn Aruba Beach Resort(Aruba). Very nice place. It has quite a few amenities, and if you like windsurfing then this place is ideal. Rooms are tastefully furnished and have A/C. Vacation Packages there are can be had starting at $899.00. For that rate you get R/T airfare, 4 nights accomodations, all hotel taxes, and an "all-inclusive" meal plan.
2- Wyndham Aruba Beach Resort & Casino(Aruba). This is a WYNDHAM Resort, so you can be assured of getting a top-notch room(rooms have balconies),along with a free-form pool, a spa, and there's an onsite casino if you like to gamble. Landscaping is decidedly tropical in feel. You can be at this Resort starting at $875.00, which you get R/T airfare, 4 or 5 nights(depending on your booking date) accomodations, all hotel taxes, and an "all-inclusive" meal plan.
Please keep in mind that the rates listed above are unpublished rates(meaning you will not find them at the Resorts' websites). If all that you want is air/hotel packages only, then I know of many other Resorts on Aruba that offer that as well. But to answer your original question, Marriott Aruba Surf Club is ok, but rather limited in what they offer for the outlandish rates they charge.

We went to Aruba a pair years in the past and that i might definately circulate back back. Aruba is an extremely high quality place to circulate to. It has super beaches and hotels and an excellent kind of high quality eating places. It additionally has some casinos in diverse of the hotels. there is not lots to do in Aruba different than sea coast stuff. you are able to excursion the island in a million/2 an afternoon; you’ll see the lighthouse, a countrywide park that’s kinda like wasteland, a cave with some petroglyphics, and a organic bridge the place the water comes decrease than it and washes onto a small sea coast. there's a excursion that takes you in a jeep throughout the time of many of the wasteland aspects yet i might bypass this. you rather do not want a vehicle in Aruba, there is not that lots to tension to confirm. toddler sea coast is kinda high quality yet don't experience disillusioned in case you don't get there. Its not that distinctive. you are able to actual take a public bus to city from the sea coast aspects. there are various water activities in Aruba which contain jet skis, snorkel and scuba, parasailing and wind surfing and merely lounging on the beaches. The casinos are high quality, yet small. eating places are particularly costly. I do propose the Marriott in Aruba; it’s an excellent inn. There are tow Radisson hotels, one on the city and the different outdoors of city, that are the two super. the single on the city has its very own inner maximum island sea coast for its travelers.

We stayed at the Mariott in Aruba and it was great. It has everything you want right there. Our room included a breakfast buffet and we also had an ocean view room which was very large and comfortable, like a suite. I would go back there anytime.

any where on palm beach is busy or noisy or more traffic, maybe preferred by the younger crowd, if you are a little bit older and want some quiet time or more of a romantic setting head south to the low rise area on eagle beach
