I'm not that familiar with C++, but check in your manuals or your help for examples of handling the different ports.

You may have to take input from the serial and then arrange it in an array to put it out to the parallel port.

A question, Why don't you add an additional Parallel port to your computer and take from parallel and put out to Parallel? The ports are very inexpensive and may save you some programming!

USB is the desirable because this is can be utilized to connect diverse units to at least one port, commonly serial and parallel can try this. Parallel were very consumer-friendly for printers and serials were used for modems earlier USB got here out. you could purchase an adaptor to reveal your USB port right into a serial/parallel yet no longer the way round by using them being very slow and undesirable at transferring extremely a lot of documents. USB is definitely a thanks to pass. USB V3.0 can do 625MB/2d even as serial is .18M MB/2d and parallel at 2MB/2d
