For thin hair DO NOT USE STRAIGHTNER!! It makes your hair cripy and stick out. Blow dry it straight! It not only makes your hair straight, it gives it body!!

Salon straighteners are the best because they are trained and know what they are doing. They can be expensive so I do mine at home. I go from a perm to straight and back and forth all the time. You follow the directions on the papers in the box as far as the time goes. For thin hair it is usually about 10-15 minutes. You have to constantly comb it while it is processing. It will fry your hair a little and some pieces will break off. It is a chemical. You wil need to use leave in conditioner when you are finished and may need to use a hot oil treatment in a week or so to help keep it looking fresh and not crisp. If it doesn't entirely straighten, use a straightening iron on the curly spots to style. Good luck. Hope it turns out beautiful.

Well, first you put your top hair up and star at the bottom. Make sure you got ALL the top hair in a clip. I would reccomend using help from a mom or a friend to do this because it is quite hard. When you straigten your hair old it down then slide it.
And as well, after plugging it in wait 5-10mins for the heat to rise up.
Back to the straigtening. Hold it down in places where you think are a bit wavy, and be extra careful with thin hair.
After your done that section keep advancing up.
Note - don't use the irons to much they seriously dry your hair out, but i do it anyways :}}}} And wait until your hair is DRY DRY DRY to do this, it won't work on wet hair, and as well since your hair is thin don't hold it too much, but if you NEED to do it for 4 secs.
Apply some spray or gel or something oil afterwards
Good luck =)

I used to have a Remington straightener and it didn't work for me. I have actually tried many straigtners and the only one I will use now is the chi. It cost, I think anywheres from $130-$200. Mine cost me $130. It's a lot of money but it's worth it. Always use a ceramic straighner, it's the healthiest for your hair. I straighten my hair in sections, your should be pretty easy since it's thin, mine takes forever because I have thick hair. Also I use biosilk before I flat iron it. I have naturally thick wavey hair and these products make my hair frizz free and pin straight.

This is not recommended by professionals, but I have thick hair and when I would wear the straight style I would have to use an iron and ironing board to get it straight. I can already hear Vidal Sassoon yelling at me!

I use a straightner brush that I bought from Sally's Beauty
Supply and a blow dryer. It works great! I would also use
less hair spray, just trust me on this one.

section ur hair and do it bit by bit, but because u have thin hair it shouldnt take as long, so try not to hold the straightener on the same place for too long. if u straighten ur hair too much, it wrecks it... so make sure ur lookin after it aswell.. xx

i would put the straightener down. your thin hair is going to get majorly damaged. stick to a large, round brush and blow dryer to starighten your hair with minimal damage.

rub some styling gel in it when it is wet, and do NOT straighten it when it is damp...wait until it is completely dry and just run the straightener through
