My G/f has been staying w/ me while her parents r away. Over the course of the week, she has gotton sick. Like her stomach hurts, she feels like she is gonna puke, and she has gotten dizzy spells. Her back hurts, and she seems to be getting vry quiet, and tired. I drove her to the doc, and he ran blood tests and found nothing. He said if she progressed in 1 or so weeks to bring her back. He ran more tests and found nothing rong. The problem is that the pain meds either work for a short time and stop working, or just dont work. How can I comfort her? Since the doc saw her 3 days ago, we decided to wait for 1 week and see what happens, unless she gets vry bad in that case I will take her ti the ER. But in the mean time I wonder how to help her, and make her pain get less. All her doc cud say was that if the meds don't work there isnt much I can rly do. So any adivce on how to make her feel better, and anything wud be good. Thanks!

Well, quite obviously she's hurting from the fact that her parents are away, or have you done something that you shouldn't? You said she's 16, how old are you?

The best thing is to contact her parents and ask them to return pronto, like maybe yesterday. Do they know that you are living together?

Well something is wrong or she would not have pain. I suggest you get her into a gastrointerologist (a stomach/colon doctor) and have a upper and lower scope scheduled. She could have a stomach or intestinal issue that cannot be tested for and will only be visible once they get a camera down there. By all means, do not take one doctors word for it and let her continue to be in that much pain. Get her in as soon as you can. It may be faster to have her current doctor refer her to someone if he will. Good luck.

Could be morning sickness (she's pregnant!) which can strike at any time of the day. A former GF of mine had morning sickness all through her pregnancy. Back pain is another symptom.

Good luck.

Sounds like she's pregnant to me. Go get a pregnancy test. Otherwise, just let her rest and make sure that she stays hydrated, if she can't keep anything down.
