You may have gotten a bad product or maybe you didn't rinse it out enough, but still it shouldn't be burning like that! I would contact the distributor and inquire about how long that product was on the shelf, then contact the maker and see if you can get some answers from them. There is no reason you should still be burning after a month. For the breakage, you should use straight protein and you can get it from any beauty supply, or use Alpha Gee treatment. It stinks really bad but it immediately stops the breakage from continuing. You may want to wait until your scalp heals before applying because the protein may burn if skin is irritated or broken in any way. Just put it on the hair, without covering it, and sit under a hair dryer until your hair feels rock hard and then rinse out. You should then shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo and apply a reconstructing conditioner. Keep hair conditioned at all times and you may have to repeat this process several times to ensure and maintain your hair's health.

It's been a month and your scalp is still burning? You need to visit a dermatologist. You could be having a serious allergic reaction, or at the very least, have a chemical burn. To keep the hair from breaking, try the PhytoSpecific line, available at Sephora or sephora.com. It's pricey, but effective! It's designed for relaxed hair, and designed to stop breakage. Good luck, and make that appointment TOMORROW.

More than likely you are still having a allergic reaction to the residue. Buy your self a bottle of 7-up and open it up. Let it set out for about 4 hours to go flat. (I know this sounds silly) Then use this as a rinse after shampooing. If this does not help you may need to see a doctor. Sometimes chemicals get down into the follicles and don't come out easily.

I'm like the others, i would seek medical attention FAST..that doesn't sound to- good, your scalp isn't supposed to be feeling hot at all.
It does sounds like you have an allergic reation to the relaxer that was used in your hair..and if your hair is breaking, it might be over-processed, or do to the damage of your scalp you gonna need your hair to be treated for that..,who did your relaxer..you need to tell them, about the problem you're having.

If you don't mind me asking, which relaxer did you use?

The type of relaxer you used could have been too strong for your hair type, or it was left on your hair for too long. Since our scalp is burning, u could be allergic to it. U should go to dermatologist to have it checked out.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY BE ALLERGIC TO THE PRODUCT THAT WAS USED. TRY PUTTING MAYONNAISE ON YOU SCALP AND SEE IF THAT HELPS THE BURNING. IT MAY EASE THE BREAKAGE. DON'T KEEP WASHING IT OR YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR HAIR AND SCALP EVEN MORE. YOU NEED ALOT OF OILY CONDITIONERS NOW. SHAMPOO WILL DRY IT OUT MORE. I FEEL FOR YOU AND I HOPE THE BURN STOPS. LOL, NIKI

you did not follow the instructions or you bought a to strong of a perm. did you scratch your scalp before you applied the perm?
did you have damage hair befor you started? was it dyed? did you remove the damage ends? need to see a doctor if your scalp is still burning after one month.

Wow you may have used a relaxer that was too strong for your hair type. I would recommend u try another shampoo the shampoo may be part of your problem. Try a gentle shampoo maybe Dove. It'll help out a lil and if the problem persist you should prolly go to a near by hair salon and see wut they have to say about it.
