Jehovahs Witnesses are a diverse group of people in over 230 lands that belive Jesus is the promised messiah, the Son of God (not part of a trinity)
We belive that we are living in what the Bible terms as "the time of the end".
This is not the end of the world but the end of rulership over the world by Satan. This is based on what Jeus said to his followeres as recorded at Matthew 24 when they asked him 'what would be the sign of your presence and the conclution of this systym of things" Jesus gives a lot of signs to look fro that we feel stated in 1914 with world war 1 and will finish at what the Bible calls the battle of Armagedon.
We belive that God NEVER does anything with out giving warnings. The warnings are in the Bible for our day. We believe that as followeres of Christ we must do the same work he did and preach the "Good news of Gods Kingdom" and sound the warning of the battle of Armagedon. That is why we go from door to door, to preach Gods Kingdom and sound that warning.
There is a lot of out right false informati9n about Jwehovahs Witnesses on the internet. If you read then make sure you also find out the other side of the story by talking to a JW. jehovahs witnesses are the only branch of christianity that follow the bible and its teachings thoroughly, they are the only ones to call god by his name, a name that was removed from the king james bible, they believe that if they live by gods word and spread his word that at the time of the end they will be saved and those who have followed the true word of god but died before the end will be resurected and they will live on a paradise earth, jehovahs witnesses face a lot of mocking by mainstream religion but if you read your bible you will find out why, i am not religious but i have read the bible and also looked into most religions and their beliefs, i do believe in god and i also believe that if any religion on earth has got it right then it is these guys, if you are thinking about becoming religious or indeed anybody who is, in these days which if the bible is the truth must surely be the time of the end , then it would be foolish not to learn about the beliefs of jehovahs witnesses, also an interesting fact about the jehovahs witnesses is that when a witness leaves the faith they do not join another religion, muslims, catholcs and protestants become witnesses but not the other way round so get from that what you like, i am sure many people will disagree with me but hey thats freedom of speech, the resolve of the witnesses also is something that suprised me, you should google what they did in the concentration camps. and to the stupid girl who said that the witnesses do not believe that jesus is the son of god, of course they do, they just dont believe that god is jesus, if god and jesus are one and the same then who on earth resurrected jesus when he was dead for three days? people who wish to cast aspersions onto other peoples beliefs should at least take the time to learn of what they speak otherwise all they are doing is surrounding themselves with their own dogmatic and arrogant opinions, read and learn, two words for all people who think like the girl who made that comment, read and learn. and the only difference between the bible the witnesses use and the king james that the caths use is that the bible does not edit gods name out and the cathlic version does, now catholicism theres a religion built on lies and oppression, the people that thought up catholicism are of the same line as the person who ordered the death of gods son, islam, caths and proddys have cause more death and destruction than anything else on earth but doesnt the bible say that killing is wrong?

Jehovah's Witnesses are a global Christian religion that works to preach Jesus' teachings, direct attention to the divine name "Jehovah", and share the bible's hope for a restored paradise earth where the righteous will live forever as humans.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

Has your minister, priest or religious leader mentioned this wonderful hope to you? Of course they have not, most clergymen say nothing about it. In fact, many do not even believe the Bible. This is an important reason why Jehovah’s witnesses call at the homes of people of other religions.
The efforts of Jehovah’s witnesses to approach people in public and at their homes are rooted in the Word of God. Jesus himself went directly to the people, and he instructed his apostles and disciples to do likewise.
The Witnesses’ beliefs, based entirely on God’s Word, the Bible, prevent them from falling into the trap of becoming a sect or a cult. They take a kindly interest in all other people, of whatever religious persuasion. No, they do not try to force these people to change their viewpoint. They endeavor to imitate their Leader, Christ Jesus, by presenting Scriptural evidence of the trouble-free Paradise that will soon be established on earth.—Matthew 28:19, 20; 1 Peter 2:21.

http://www.watchtower.org I have been studying with the Jehovahs Witnesses for over a year and I love what I am learning and get offended by some of the cruel things that the world has to say about them. "they dont follow the bible" said one girl, she doesnt know what she is talking about, everything a Jehovahs Witness knows about life comes from the bible

Jehovah witnesses believe that Jesus Christ was a great teacher, but not the Messiah. They believe verses in most Bibles were added on, and try to adhere to a bible they feel was trnslated from the earliest texts. Witnesses also believe that the verse in Revelation that refers to 144,000 that are found in the end of times to be the only ones worthy of Heaven, will come from the ranks of thier religion.

Jehovah witness is a group of people that believe Jehovah is God and Jesus is his son. Jehovah send his son to die for our sins. Therefore Jehovah witnesses believe in following Jesus steps which is preaching Jehovah's word. The problem is that there is a bunch of hypocrites in this religion and any other religion. Just follow your heart and speak to god from your heart.

I am a Jehovah's witness and the name of my religion stands for itself, a witness of the only true God, Jehovah (psalms 83:18)
And what do you mean when you asked, "how are they that way?"

They are a christian sect. They're not christians, they may look like christians though. They have their own bible version which is not recognised by any reputable scholars and they don't believe that Jesus is the son of God, don't believe that Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are one and also three persons. Some important differences mean that they basically don't believe the only way to heaven is through Jesus' work on the cross alone.
The only way to heaven, to eternal life, is through Jesus. We could never earn salvation; but Jesus, being perfect and without sin, died in our place so that we could be gifted with salvation. If we accept this gift, we are saved; if we don't, God let's us have our way and the end point for a life with sin is hell. Jesus is God's lifeline out of a desperate situation from which there was no hpoe before.
If you wish to be saved, believe that there is only one God, and he created you to be His. Accept that your life has been lived for yourself, and not Him. Anything that is wrong to God's ways is sin. Believe that Jesus died on the cross to take the penalty for a life of sin, and that through that death and coming back to life the way is open for you to be saved. Believe Jesus died for you. Then choose to give up your old life and accept God's new life through Jesus, so all your life will now revolve around God now, and not you, thus fulfilling your purpose for being created.
Pray all this, and you will be saved! It is the most miraculous thing that can happen to a person, if they so choose.
