If even if it's legal, it doesn't seem like a good idea. Paintballs can do serious damage if they hit you in the eye. Even if you have on good protective gear, no one else will.

All the sport of paintball needs is a headline reading "8 year old girl shot with paintball in the eye while at local park"-- Then everyone would think its dangerous and politicians will start trying to make rules outlawing it because everyone thinks it's so dangerous..

Even if it is legal, I don't think it's a good idea.

Airsoft and Paintball are perfectly legal however some places have enacted laws banning their use mostly for airsoft. I wouldn't recommend playing in a neigborhood park because u will have the cops called on u. Best way is to play in a remoter area like woods or a field. Also airsoft guns are illegal if the orange tip is removed. It is a federal law. Peronally, i like airsoft more because it's cheaper to buy bbs and it hurts alot less than paintball

I have a huge park that backs up to my property and it has a huge field. even though i could refrain myself from shooting high there is no guarantee that it wont hit somebody else on the other side of the park. if it is legal then you need to contact your city councilmen and state law makers just to make sure and get the proper permits. also if you wnated to go you need to build structures that meet the building codes. so its not a good idea either way

Most cities have an ordinance against firing paint ball guns inside the city limits, unless it is at a special use permitted site. I would say you could land in big trouble with the local PD if you discharge a paint ball gun in a public place like a park.

It depends on where you live and where the park is.

Even if it is ok make sure that there are no people around and you are well protected.

It depends on where you live, check with the local police (NOT 911).

Goggles are a must and in most parks there are bystanders
