My hair colorings have all said that the hair must be dry to color.

Dry. If your hair is wet when you add the color to your hair the hair won't be able to absorb the color as well.

more than likely it should be dry i color mine all the time and everything i use your hair has to be dry

I would recommend that you leave it dry because after you add the color you have to rinse it out. If your not sure about the color then do it wet so the color doesn't last as long.Have Fun!

dry always dry!!!! never dye your hair wet as it will not absorb the colour and you will be wasting your time and your hair dye if it does not come out correctly .hope that helps.

YOU COLOR YOUR HAIR DRY. NO NEED TO WASH IT FIRST. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY AND TIME IT CORRECTLY, OR YOU MAY BE SORRY. GOOD LUCK.

depends on the direction but in my experience it should usually be dry
