It's been ten days since my last flight, and still got this "bubble" where you feel a little deafness after a take-off or landing. First time that I had this for this long. Tried different techniques I know but it still persists. Help!!

My boyfriend gets the same thing and you just have to let it cure itself. There's nothing that you can do for it after the fact, unless your doctor could do something. Next time you are on a flight try chewing gum. Big mouthful of gum. That really helped him.

Chewing gum usually works for me. You can prevent this by chewing gum when taking off on a flight, but it also works to get rid of it too. If you have any mountains where you live, drive up it until your ears pop, this should make it go away as well.

You could have eustation tube disfunction; basically your ears don't pop like other peoples. I have this and flying is a real problem. Taking some antihistamine may help reduce fluid and allow your eustation tube to move like it needs to. I take sudafed and advil prior to a flight to help prevent problems.

Chew gum during flight to prevent them. Open and close your mouth wide and breath in through it.
