I like girls that are friendly and kind, and don't look too bad. First, keep clean and get a plain hairdo. Shoulder-length hair is nice. Dress conservatively, with nice colors. You only need to lose weight if you have a spare tire or are overweight (you can find height-weight tables online). If you are taller than about 5' 9", I recommend you wear flat shoes because 5' 9" is the average height for guys. Wearing flat shoes will make you appealing to more guys. Remember, keep your appearance simple but pleasant and be kind to everyone. Also, remember to avoid dating idiots. I notice lots of girls experience a lapse of judgement when some punk gives them a little attention. Good luck!
Oh, yeah . . . I forgot one of the most important things to do when you meet a guy: Be honest! It's so irritating to converse with a liar, and I've met more than my share of them. Kindness and honesty go together, because it is unkind to be dishonest.

Naturally us guys like pretty girls, but I still don't want to be around a pretty girl if I have nothing in common with her - we must get along and have similar humor as well as other interest. Most of all be honest and if you don't like something say so and when you do like something tell him you like it - this one thing will carry you miles down the road with him.

froggy, just be you and develop your own personal style.
For what it's worth, if you dress like a bimbo, the boys are going to want only one thing, and we all know what that is. What you want to get is a boy that will be proud to introduce you to his mother, and not just go rent a motel room or take what he wants in the backseat of the car.

Why don't you just wear what you want to wear and be confident about it.
Its not about looks as much as confidence. The best looking people can look unattractive when they have no confidence.
