Of course not; the modern day equivalent is to send them to Iraq!

The last score posted was; Lions 10 - Christians 0. But then the Roman sports league fell apart. Something to do with the collapse of an Empire, moral decay, etc. Funny huh? All those people dying...

Sort of like our free-way system.

Ach. Zo many Christians und zo few lions. Oy vey ist mir. Yes, there are times when all of us non-christians feel that way. But remember, despite their sometimes supremely annoying behaviors and remarks, they have as much right to express themselves as we do. The problems arise not when we disagree with them but when they attempt to suppress our contrary opinions and we react in the same manner. The only legitimate way to offset a stupid, hateful or just plain erroneous remark is by replying with the truth. And it's also important to recognize that sometimes you just have to walk away, as in an encounter with someone like Ann Coulter. She spouts her venom to get attention, a tactic common to those who've not grown emotionally beyond adolescence. If you get angry enough to respond to her ugly remarks in kind, then she's won, because her whole intent is to garner attention and sell her books. She will soon have had her fifteen minutes of fame and will cease polluting society with her ugliness, but she'll be replaced by someone else just as ugly and shallow. Don't let this constant parade of evil-tempered, foul-mouthed demagogues drag you down to their level.

Ahhh, the ole "feed them to the lions" thing.

One little bit of information you forget about ... the Romans eventually became Christians :)

I don't think PETA would let that happen. They would probably say that humans weren't good for lions to eat and that it amounted to animal cruelty.

That's what happens when people forget that we are created in God's image you know.

People will soon be getting tired of football, I can imagine it might be re-introduced any time now. There will be big money in the syndicated televison shows.

Smelly cat smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat smelly cat, it's not your fault!
