when i called to see if the policy was any good they told me that it was paid up thru his death, i told them he died of a accidental drowning and that i had proof from the autopsy report and police report and the witnesses that were at the river when he drowned. maybe you are all right, the insurance company is still open and they did send me the claim forms and i sent back all the proper paper work that they requested. the original policy states that if they do not pay by 30 days after reciept from me of the paper work then they have to pay 9% PER ANNUM ON THE MONEY. the 9th of july will be 30 days from the reciept of the paperwork from me. I just did not know if they really would pay after all these years that have passed although they did ask me to write out on a letter explaining the delay in filing the claim and i did write one out to them explaining no-one knew it existed so therefore no-one could file until now. thanks all for your help.

So what is your question? You'll never know if a claim will be paid until it's approved. Every "t" must be crossed and every "i" dotted. Keep your fingers crossed.
