Good one. He'd have to exist for that to happen.

If they had brought back their Jesus in the seventies, would he have had an afro and listened to disco music?

asia391: "Winning souls"?! This isn't 'Spanish Train', kid.

First of all as a side note, Jesus didn't spin out of the grave, he got up and walked out of that thing! Sure Did! It's hard for me to think about what Jesus would look like if he was spinning. It's not a wonder to me why God allows good thing's to happen to bad people....but, it's an amazement to me why God allows good thing's to happen to any of us. "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." Romans 3:23

. . . heh. That's kind of funny. reading all this answers. And yes, he is spinning in his grave.

Don't you love how a single being can control the masses so? I guess just because a wise person existed and wrote a book makes them . . . godly.

Even if Jesus, Abraham, and other of God's self were real, Bible was wrote by a man. Even if the first bible was exactly to god's words, our bibles are actually translated version, not even direct translation from original words. Original to another language to Latin to English. Some words simply do not exist in some language, or have multiple meaning. What does this mean? our bible is wrongly translated, assuming the latin version of the bible was not wrongly translated to begin with. Also, translator of bible was probably biased and wrote more in favor of church and man.

And in old days, church held great power over people. That's why woman didn't have any power. If woman actually had more power, and gained more political strength . . . maybe our world wouldn't be so bad as it is now.

Jesus was never in a grave, He was put in a tomb and since He arose from the dead He knows how the world is today.

Indeed, and He would be very sorry they didn't have the internet and cell phones in his days. This would have made his earth mission far easier. Can you picture the apostles phoning each other: Peter is on the Mt. of Olives while Philip is at the sea of Galilee, and Jesus is in Jerusalem and they have a conference. Cool or what?! I can even see the Magdalene doing her bit with an extra-thin pink Motorola.

Jesus rose from the dead. There is no one in his grave. You can go to Jersusalem and see. He is up in heaven now, along with his body, seated at the right hand of his Father.

No. He'd see the compassion that people have for each other, the solidarity that people are capable of, the hope that so many of us have for a better future, and the efforts that many of us are making to realise that hope. He'd see a lot of people trying to fulfil the world he envisioned.

He'd see 2 billion people who claim to be following his teachings and believing in him.

And he'd be confused as to why these are two different groups instead of just one...
