These things were created to solve peoples questions without actually having to answer them. Would you want to explain the big bang to people or just have them believe there was a guy who created everything?
This is the biggest mistake in history. Things should have been explained correctly in the first place and we could have advanced much further than we already have.

you are totaly right i am studying islam and that is what it says in the holy quran let others believe what they want and you believe what you want. from an islamic perspective alot of muslims today arn't practicing that during the time of Muhammad there were Jews and Christians in Arabia- that Muhammad protected he did not force them to follow his religion they had contract and treaties. and there was no propaganda going around saying islam is better or christians are better. we religious people today need to first read their holy books, learn the lessons in them and then practice it we need to look and work on ourselves and stop being so judgemental just live our lives the way we want and let others do the same with out prejudice and judgements. because deep down we are all able to be good people no matter what our religion. once we are able to do that we are no longer a religious person we are a spiritual person

i hope this helps

Because if one is allowed to have even the slightest doubt regarding matters of this nature, the probabibility is too high that members of the sect in question will eventually determine that their beliefs are irrational, fly in the face of science and logic, and as such are nothing but colorful myths. The power that the religion weilds over people will be diminished, if not eliminated. It is very much in the interest of those that derive their living from practicing religions to maintain the foolish myth that their spin on the universal truth is the correct one.

Judging from your question, which seems to me pre-biased in rejecting all answers before they are given based on "religious" view-point. I don't know that the question is really what you want answered. From the christian viewpoint, Muslim is the greatest deception of mankind second only to Catholicism. It would depend on what religious book you choose to believe. The Bible says you can test a spirit by the rejection or admission of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. The Muslim faith rejects this claim and the documented fact the Jesus indeed arose from the grave. They won't accept Christ and therefore will NEVER get into Heaven, No matter how big a martyr they be or how many they kill in the name of Allah. God's commandment is: Thou shalt NOT kill

This is a good question! I think that each person's respective religion is the right one to them, and as a Christian, I firmly believe that my religion IS the one true religion. People want to share their religions with others because they are compassionate and would love too see someone else find hope, joy, and purpose in their life. It is understandable that people don't always like this, and that is unfortunate, but you must remember that it IS the person's choice to listen or not. I also think, though, that it's important to respect everyone, whether you like their religious convictions or not. Also, be mindful that what they believe to be the right path is something that is important to them and please be respectful of that. God bless you. :)

There is no one right path, there are many. It's the path that your're on that seems the most righteous. Differing points of view from different paths will never change unless they change to another path. Take Islam for example - no Muslim will ever accept any other religion besides their own as the true one unless they get out of their religion and look at the bigger picture.

I am a Christian and I do believe that my God and my faith in Him will let me get to heaven. However, it is difficult to tell other people that their way of life is wrong. After all, after a person turns 26, they are mainly set in their ways. this is sad because as a Christian, I want as many as possible to be able to experience heaven. This is a place with no sin, no pain, and nothing bad. So my main purpose is to make more disciples of Jesus Christ so that as many people as possible can experience the peace, love, forgiveness, and other benefits of God.

I will try to answer this, without getting into the specifics or fundamentals of any one religion. Belief or faith requires a committed heart, mind and soul. It requires that you be convinced beyond doubt that your faith is true. It requires testing and commitment and a staunch determination to abide in that faith. It also presses your heart to share your faith with others. In fact, if your personal faith does not press you to share it then it is not faith at all. I have considered this question myself over many years, and am convinced that my faith is the true one. With all my heart I would choose this same faith again. I also trust my God enough to know that if I have a wrong understanding that He will show me what needs to be changed, through study of His written word , or by invention with another person who has greater understanding. God is never stagnant, nor impersonal. He is always true and provides ways for us to grow in our faith.

I believe the reason people try to bring non-believers to the 'right path' is because their love and faith is strong and they do not wish for others to be left behind.
I myself am a Christian, and I have only recently known the love of Christ. It is such an amazing experience for me that I want the world to know the gifts knowing Jesus can bring to a broken soul.
I do not belong to any denomination. Christ does not want brother fighting against brother, and I really believe that becoming a member of any organized religion creates that type of strife in the heart of man. I believe in God and His Word which He so generously shares to all who want to know it through the Holy Bible.
I urge you to read it for yourself and make your own decisions. I pray that you come to know the truth and feel as blessed by it as I do.
Jesus loves you!

Of course everyone thinks that "their" way is the right way or they wouldn't be a follower of that way. The reason I'm certain about my Christian faith is because I put my trust in Jesus who said that He was the way the truth and the life and that no one could come to the Father apart from Him.

History, fulfilled prophecy, the warnings Jesus gave about false Christs who would come, along with the personal life testimony that I have been given by my changed life in Christ all give me confidence that I haven't been hoodwinked by some group of religious nuts.

I don't have the time to share my whole testimony with you but suffice it to say that I wasn't seeking God, He arranged circumstances in my life and called me to Himself. No one invited me to church or tried to convert me. It was all God.

Then you have the law of non-contradiction. Either Jesus is the only way or He is a liar or a madman.

I think your question is one that is way too deep for answers.yahoo.com . I suppose people have their reasons- whether or not they are right. I guess they will say that they want to "save" you, or perhaps they simply want to justify their religion, I wouldn't be surprised if people started arguements just for the sake of arguing. People like to rant, and preaching can be seen as glorified ranting. If people are trying to convert you or put your religion down, I suppose that is simply to be expected throughout life. Just keep true to your beliefs, and understand that some people can't be changed.
