maybe try sitting down and talking to them, and i totally understand you, i'm only 12, going on 13, and i'm a girl, but my parents are the same way. either tell them to screw off, or just sit them down, and tell them that you want to stay healthy, and fit(to keep that hot bod of yours hot!) and see if they can maybe start eating dinner a little earlier, or just letting you do your own thing, and eating at normal times, don't feel bad and don't think it's ur fault. just talk to your mom, she'll understand, i promise.

It's tough now adays for everyone to set down and eat at the same table..why are your folks eating late? because of their jobs? Have you tried to talk with your parents about your concerns?..have you told your Mom that she is a good cook but eating this late is bad for you..maybe you will have to fix your own dinner at the time you want..nothing wrong with that or even help your Mom fix something so she doesn't have to cook everyday..I hope this helps some.

Well, you are probably not going to like my answer, but here goes anyhow.
1. Talk to your parents about your concerns in an honest, respectful way.
One or two things will happen. First they could say, "Oh, okay son, thank you for being an adult about things. We can work something out to make us all happy."---Second, they could say,"Thank you son, but we are going to eat as a family and you are going to eat what we cook."
Either way, they are the parents and you should respect their wishes.
Good luck....Oh, and at 14, maybe you should think a little bit before cursing, even if you try to hide it with a bunch of 8's. :)

Why don't u just eat a little bit, just to please them? I know it's not the right thing to do as far as ur body's concerned, but sometimes parents can be a brick wall, and if ur not for something they do, ur against it, and maybe they want to eat dinner as a family. Have to tried suggesting to them to eat dinner a bit earlier? Or, u can eat when they eat, and just work that much harder to work it off. Usually teen metabolism's crazy, so u should be able to loose the weight fairly easy.

Explain to your mother that she is a terrific cook and that your thoroughly enjoy it. Tell her that you would like to eat dinner earlier so that you will be able to take a short walk before bedtime because you want to stay healthy and keep the weight down. Walking also helps you digest you food before bed. Good Luck

on the days when it seems like they'll eat late, offer to cook dinner at the time you want to eat. If your mom thinks it's b/c of her tell her you're giving her a break b/c the last meal was so good.

look dude! I'm 16 and my parents get on my nerves too. But they never tell me when to eat. Have you told them why you don't want to eat when they do? If you haven't you might want to try that. Are they fat and unhealthy because that might be the reason why they don't understand this. If I were you I would just explain this to them and if they still don't understand, eventually they will get over it. u shouldn't cuss at ur parents though because that is disrespectful. good luck!

You know what, I'm 33 and I LOVE to eat w/ my parents. Just f88king eat w/ them! Famlies should do that more often. You should thank your parents man. Not to be rude, but man, if this is the worst thing to ever happen to you, you've got it made. So many parents nowdays have just lost complete touch w/ their kids and have NO clue what they are up to...seems to me, at least your parents care, kwim?
