grill sponge cake on one side until there's grill lines, take it off, and then put a fruit compost on the other side. Or, you can grill bananas, or make a fruit kabob with bananas, apples and other firm fruits.

I've seen them grill peaches, nectarines and plums on the grill. I would try that and serve it with a simple vanilla bean ice cream of good quality. Maybe drizzle it with some honey and cinnamon. Very summerlike dessert.

cut black plums in half, and put them cut side down onto the grill. leave them on just long enough to get little black grill marks. while that's going on make up a nice glaze for them by cooking down some balsamic vinegar (it'll become very thick and sweet as it cooks down)...pour all this over vanilla ice cream...ta-da! grilled dessert.

Don't forget somemores! Toast those marshmallows, and put them betwwen two graham crackers with some Hershey's squares. It's kind of kiddie, but they are a crowd pleaser.
Fruit kabobs do sound good. Any kind of fruit that will hang onto a skewer works. Try buying sugar cane sticks instead of skewers for the fruit..
