I'd say you just tell him you can't go out with him. If he asks why, just tell him you don't feel the same way.
Even if you hurt him now, it is better to hurt him now than later.
Telling the truth is the best way you can get.
(Clears throat) Not to boast or anything but I remained friends with the guy I rejected. No hard feelings, just a bit awkward. Unless of course, you don't even want to be friends with him anymore.

Just tell him the truth, tell him you don't have feelings for him, it may hurt him at the moment, but in the long run it will be a lot of help for him...and you. whatever you do dont give him some stupid line like i cant right now, or i want to be single at the moment. Everyone needs to know the truth.

Well i have had that done to me once and i told him i had a boy~friend,So why dont you do like juss the same thing but send him an e_mail.w.e you do ..Do not tell him on the phone or in person it will makeyou fill funny inside!

tell him u just dont feel like being in a relationship right now and u like him a lot and maybe if u want to be in a relationship later, ull go out.

Just say no, give him some good reasons why, preferbly ones he can't fix easily.
You don't see him enough, those sorta things
Also say you wanna stay friends and you're that if you go out that you might not be friends after it.

Just be nice about it. Let him know that you think he's cool but just in a friendly way. Tell him your not trying to get into any type of romantic situation.
