whats the point? serriously. people are that desperate that they cant find anyone where they live that they have 2 date someone online that they dont even know if real. more then half the people online are predators and just wanna sleep wit u. or even if they arent, whats the chance that u will actually meet them? i mean, c'mon. what do u think?

Well for some of us that are divorced and I have 2 kids that play sports all year around. That is were most of my time goes. When I do have time for my self, I dont want to go to bars to meet people. I am 32 years old and for some of us it is hard to meet people. We have no where to go to meet people. I will agree with you on some stuff, There are some mean people out there. Thats why you have to becareful in who you meet and where you meet them. You always meet in a public place and make the first date really short, You tell them ahead of time. That way if it is not what you are wanting then you dont have to spend much time there. I meet my lady on a date site, There are some good ones out there and there is some bad ones also. You can meet them if you want, thats up to the people. I have meet some really nice people on the internet and I have meet some b*tches. You just have to be a good judge I guess of people.

While I never exactly did "online dating", I did meet my husband online while playing poker in a yahoo game room.
For me, as a middle-aged woman with health problems that keep me somewhat homebound, it was a wonderful surprise to meet a wonderful man who didn't care about that.
We have been married over two years now, (known each other five years) and are very happy together and have a wonderfully strong relationship.
I don't neccessarily advise people to try and find love that way, but it happened for us, and it's great.

There has been Good Marriages from ppl who found each other around the world .The world has become very small using Internet .Once you establish a relationship a simple plane trip can take you to any country in the world.

hay don't knock till you try it...i did and meet some in MD...i live in mass...we been seen each other scence Jan ..and now will are planing to move in together its true there is alot of predators just find the right one

i kinda agree with you. personally i would never date a girl that i met online, mostly because i just don't respect girls that try to find guys online. it does seem desperate and that's a major turn-off. i date girls with class who can choose from any guy they see. i don't know, i'm just extremely picky. some of my friends aren't like that tho, they bang every sl*t that they find on some dating-site
