I really like the matrix line. I can't use things such as dove, etc. etc. It either doesn't condition enough, or it "stops" working good after about a half a bottle. I've tried multiple things and this is what works the best. I use the sleek like, which is for frizzy, coarse, and dry hair. Which, it you wear it straight, might be the trick for you. However, they have a line for curly hair, too. You can get these products at any fine salon.

Try Herbal Essence for dry/damaged hair. Also - this may sound weird but it works - use mayonaise. Get your hair damp and put a thick layer of mayo on. Let it set for 5-10 minutes and rinse it out really well. Before you straighten your hair, make sure you put some kind of product on it, too. You could try a leave-in type of conditioner or some kind of fortifying styling product. If you protect your hair before exposing it to heat, it won't become so dry. Good luck!

one hint...its not about the shampoo at all. its all about the conditioner! anything with intense moisturizer. and also you can use a smoothing serum or somthing to protect and coat your hair before you put the straightner of death to it. and you might want to cut back on straighting it like every other day so it can have some recovering time, imagine if you went tanning everyday, thats what your hair feels like. just when you pick a product for your hair think "moistur!"

Conditioner is the key. I use Matrix moisturizing shampoo and Nexus Humectris conditioner. Not cheap, but worth it.

Try using Coconut oil or Olive oil or Baby oil it realy helps lot because chamicals in shampo or in other brands will just make your hair worse so go with the natural.
