Hi, me and my BF get dandruff.
My BF’s hair is worse then mine…
Ok so here’s the deal:

My BF:
He has Growth Dandruff, his hair grows so fast that it breaks his scalp. He also has trouble getting his scalp moisturized which also adds to the problem. His hair is like a thick sponge and it’s hard to reach his scalp even when wet. In the end his scalp stays flack free for ONE day and everything is moist except his ends of his hair.
I’m wondering, what can he use that is better and natural (no chemicals), so far he uses Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner like I said it works for like ONE day and the conditioner could be stronger for him since his very ends stay kinda brittle and dry.

Me:
I don’t know why I have dandruff but after middle school I started getting it. I think it’s oily build up or something. If I don’t use a strong enough conditioner I’ll get dandruff, and if I use too much conditioner I’ll get dandruff because of too much oil. Anyways, the Tea Tree shampoo and Conditioner works great for me but it doesn’t get rid of the ITCH!!! I finally found something that controls my dandruff, but unless I buy the stuff with chemicals in it (that I know of) I can’t seem to get rid of the ITCH! It gets worse when I sweat or if it’s a really HOT day.

What can me and my BF do?!?!?
AND we only want natural chemical FREE stuff (oh and no egg stuff like Hair Mayonnaise I’m vegan I don’t want to be usin’ that stuff even though it really does moisturize very well Hehe)

Ok "mema" that'll work for ME, but what about my BF? If I or he tryed to use a fine toothed brush it would get stuck! IT's not quit an afro but it's thick enough to be one LOL. Without cutting his hair off how does he get something to his scalp to scrub off his dead skin cells, and does he have to do that EVERYDAY since his hair grows like SUPPER fast and breaks his scalp skin???

P.S.
Why hasn't any one told me how to stop MY ITCHING sensation I get even when I don't have dandruff??? I hate it when my head itches...

Head and Shoulders NEVER worked for my BF and I (and it is NOT natural)
Neutrogena is not completely natural (at least that I know of), and it severely dries out both of our hair from the supposed chemicals (even though it is the only thing that has a decent anti-itch formula which works great for me, but it ruins my hair and my BF’s hair).

i don't know if you will call this natural....but Nizoral is the best dandruff shampoo that i ever tried....i use to work at Walgreen's and we use to stay out of a product called Nizoral its a dandruff shampoo,it cost about 7 dollars for a small bottle---but its worth every dollar...Mind you i had bad dandruff's myself.I asked around before purchasing the product and received nothing but good comments about this product.I purchased the product and it did wonders to my hair....I love it..

Use a dandruff shampoo. While your in the shower, and your hair is soaped up, comb through it making sure your getting through to the scalp. Then rinse as usual. Its simpler than one thinks. Ads and hairstylists will try to sell you all kinds of crap and thats what their there for, money. Follow these directions for a week and you'll see the difference. The solution is combing the dry skin (dandruff) off of your scalp with a FINE toothed comb.

I found that the Neutrogena anti-dandruff stuff (pine tar based)worked somewhat. But the dermatologist gave me a cortisone lotion that really worked. I say, is it better to use a medical treatment for a couple of weeks or a bunch of stuff that doesn't work for years? Once I got rid of the cycle it has not come back.

I have had vary bad dandruff all my life, only thing that seams to work when its really bad is that shampoo (having a brain fart and cant think of it's name ARG) its in a green bottle and it looks kinda like motor oil, I think it might be called denerex, wish i was at home so I could check, oh and don't think its natural but its all that works.
