No. There are no bad people. We simply call people who do things we don’t like the bad people. All rational people do exactly what seems to be the best possible thing to do from there perspective. It only seems bad to someone who views the world from an opposite perspective. Example. Bush and his oil buddies see the Middle Eastern militant types as the bad guys so they bomb the crap out of them. When the bomb kills innocent people the survivors see the US as the bad guys. It is all perspective specific.
Sorry if this bursts anyone’s bubble but they are all the good guys. There simply are no bad people. Everyone comes from God. Everyone is a part of the same God. If you see anyone as a bad person you are judging some part of God as unexceptable.

We are all born as children of God, but we can be disowned too. Some of us think of ourselves as adopted children of God, and recognize Jesus as the only child concieved by the Holy Spirit. There is a story, about a prodigal son. That story can give hope to some of the bad people you speak of, and that hope may lead them to change.
If you think I'm a jerk now, imagine what I was like before.

It is in the interpretation of "children" in the biblical sense. Christ was also mentioned as being Adam and David, because he was of their direct lineage, not that Christ was either one reincarnate. And so we are all God's children, because He is the Father of Creation from the time before Adam. And that we are all decendants of Adam. The catch is, we are not all under grace. Some are Christian and some aren't. Some may be sons of Cain and others sons of Abel so to speak.

Actually, I have a bit of a different view than most Christians. I believe there are three types of souls: wicked (see Proverbs and Romans, lost, and believers. Wicked are created simply for the purpose of God showing His grace to His chosen people. Lost are going to be saved, and believers alone are truly "God's children." Does this sound unfair? Sorry, truth hurts. May God use this truth to stir your heart.

God's children listen to God's Word or the commandments. God's children then do not damage the neighbor and keep God's commandments out of love such as having no Gods before the Lord.

God loves us...like a father loves his children. So like the good father, he loves both good and bad children that he have. That is why God sent Jesus to save all of His children.

Christians believe that we are God's children because we are created by God, like parents "create" children. Even the worst people are thus from God and are his children.

All LIVING BEINGS --mankind, beasts, creatures, fowls, plants, trees, etc.]-- or God's Works are CHILDREN OF GOD, the Almighty Creator and our Heavenly Father.
It is ONLY MAN that transgresses The Law of God, and oftentimes willfully so... and thus man falls from His Grace. In order to be WORTHY of being called "Children [Son/Daughter] of God", one MUST FOLLOW THE LAW...
And it is NOT UP TO US to judge others ["some people"] as being "really bad". Instead we ought to worry for ourselves first --i.e., check the splinters in our eyes before we discuss about the lumber in their eyes-- as it is written.
Peace be with you!

"God's divine goodness is the essence of the whole universe and its substance. So essentially good is creation that if the good were entirely abstracted from it, everything would cease to exist; nothing would remain. Putting this in philosophical terms, goodness is not an attribute of being; rather being is an attribute of goodness. In other words, goodness is not simply a feature of life but gives rise to life. Evil, therefore, is opposed to existence; whereas goodness is creative, evil is destructive. Nothing in nature is evil in itself. That is, we and all creation bear within us, however covered over it may be, the essential goodness of God. If we become evil, we are acting contrary to our essential nature. When we look within ourselves, and within all that exists, we will find darkness and evil, but deeper still, the goodness of God."

The Christian and Jewish faiths believe that God created Adam, the first man, and Eve, the first woman, and that all humanity derived from them. So, Adam and Eve being the first people created by God, and all others being "created" through Adam and Eve, all humanity is then derived from God and thus are God's children.
