Sounds like warped brake rotors. As the pad bounces off the high and low spots it can make a thud sound.

you need rear brakes.
next time, please list year/make/model and whether brakes are disc or drum.

if you hearing a thud sound, it sounds liek the rotors are warped and the pads are thumping off the warped edges.
if it's a drum brake system, same thing. warpage happens when the drum or rotor gets to hot, or is to thin from being machine to many times.

Depends on the rear brakes, could be the parking brake shoes come unglued, pads worn out, and or rotors/ drums have a place on them

you need a brake specilist to ckeck you brakes it sounds like a shoe came loose or possibly your wheel cylinder could be loose. anyway get it there soon and be careful your brakes could fail and cause a wreck. it could even be a loose or broken brake part. just dont take it apart at home cus if ti broke inside it will not let you put it back together to get it anywhere and you have to have it towed which really may not be a bad idea

What is the year and model... if it is drum brakes, a shoe might be loose but it could be other things. Does your emergency brake work or will the car move after it is engaged?

use anti sqeaul more less a glue that is put on the back of the brake pad that pulls it back from the rotor when the brake pedal is released it also may be dust in or around the pads

replace the brake pads and have the drums resurfaced (cut). that should solve the problem.
