Marry the guy and in our wedding night choke him with a pillow. Then, when the CSI people are investigating me I will make a cute officer fall in love with me and kill them all. And then, once we are in the run like that one famous robber couple, I'll kill him. Then, I will get plastic surgery all over my body so I will look like Pam Anderson and then marry another 80 year dude to start the vicious cycle all over again. I'm that twisted.

It is hard to imagine that this problem exists. Being 18, and a citizen of the United States, you are the age of consent. Your yes is yes and your no is no.

The answer is JUST SAY NO.

If you do not live in America I do not know what to tell you.
Is there any religious law in these situations that says the man must be able to perform his filial duties. Is he capable of having or even pretending to have children. Must he not be able to prove that he can provide for you? Why didn't your parents marry you off sooner?

How about saying yes and then put the date off for two years! Maybe he will die, or you can get your passport and visa by that time. Does this man, who must have money, have a son you could run off with? He will forgive the son and you still get the money!!

What will I do besides saying NO. I would be asking questions and making waves from sunrise to sunset and giving those around me no rest and very little sleep.

This is not right. If a girl's parents want to find a boy for her even then they have to have her permission. There is no way they can make her get married to anybody. The girl has a right to make decision and say yes or no but she should check all the circumstances before getting to a big decision. I would ask my parents why are they doing this to me. They have to have a very serious reason for it. If there is even a little way to get out of it I will but still I will look at what my parents are going through.

A lot depends on how much freedom you have to say no. You sound as if you do not want to do this. If you are in the United States or Europe, you should have the choice to reject this, although it could cause a rupture with your family. In other countries, girls may not have the same choices. If you have a choice, I would not agree to this marriage. The age difference is too great.
