Why do you think there are so many teen pregnancies?

I am a teen and i see this happen to so many teens even one of my close friends....but why?After that happens most of them get dumped by their boyfriends

Paris is my idle cuz she seems like so much fun not a idle for this kind of stuff trust me..ewww

Teens tend to think that they're invulnerable to the consequences of their choices.

I think it's mostly teen girls who have low self-esteem. Even if they think resposibly, reason goes out the door when they're trying to please their bf to keep him (the source of their self esteem).

You sound like a level headed young girl, and I hope you stay that way! (Even though Paris Hilton is your idol, I hope you don't follow her example too closely!)

Because most of their parents don't talk to them about sex, and a lot of them aren't protected. But most just get caught up in the moment, and don't even think about the fact of getting protection, or that it only works 99.9% of the time. Plus, there are a lot of girls who think they can trap the guy if they just have his baby...they're too in love and exited to look at how many dads really stay with the mom.

They just dont know the risk. They get to carried away in everything elce. The boys dump them because they dont want to be a father or get in trouble.

sex without a condom! or any other form of birth control will cause this~ mixed with the fact parents dont have a clue what the teen is doing, with who, where or when! so yeah that is why
