I think you mean Arabs not Moslems (for Islam is a religion and does does not refer to an ethnic group.) Well, of course they know their origin. Their fore-father is Ismail, Isaac's brother. So, as you can see, Arabs and Israelis are cousins.

Jewish ancestry comes through Issac the son of Sarah.

israel is jacob, the son of issac. isaac had a brother named ishmael. the arabs are supposidly decended from ishmael.
