How can anyone here not see that the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah were related to gay and lesbian activities. I think everyone here knows (or should know) of sodomy laws and what the legal description of what sodomy is within America. Take note that Sodom is the root word of Sodomy. To me that is enough correlation to see America in the same predicament as Sodom and Gomorrah. Theres a judgement day comin' people.

The reason God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah is because out of the whole city only 2 were brought out by the angel because they were righteous but unfortunately the wife didn't follow the instructions and was turned into a pillar of salt. The "whole"city was Bisexual-everything goes and even the angels who took on the appearance of men were lusted after and in danger of being raped-rape is not rampant among homosexuals and most are law abiding while the people of S.and G. followed no law and did whatever they wanted according to the basest needs/wants of their human nature and murder was also rampant. The USA esp. society's mores may have gone down in values but we still have laws and a justice system to uphold them,people go to church and attempt to lead a good life.And reading in yesterdays new the 10 Commandments can again be placed in public places as long as Bill of Rights,Constitution all the documents this country was founded on are displayed also. There is hope for good people still exist to a large extent while in Sodom and Gomorrah there was none for the corruption was total.

Given the fact there are very few passages describing Sodom & Gomorrah, on what do you base that ridiculous assertion?
The "sin" of S & G was rudeness to strangers, intolerance and selfishness. The best example of that attitude is found within the GOP & "religious right."

yes there is a big similarity....when the tragedy happened to new orleans reminded of wat happened to Sodom and Gomorrah.....so yes they have a lot of similarities.
