Da Vince Code. We know it was written by a human, but I am told I need to believe it to get to heaven. I am having doubts.

The DaVinci Code is a work of fiction that, while it was very well researched and has a fairly strong factual base, should not be considered as anything but that. Fiction. It was invented and written by a man who has made a considerable amount of money off of it.
Every book was written by a human, unless you believe in that 1000 monkeys at 1000 typewriters theory, and should therefore be taken at face value only. That some will make you think and question the beliefs you previously held dear to your heart just makes them that much better written.
If someone told you to believe every word in "Star Wars" as canon, would you then question whether you would enter heaven?

WHERE IN THE WORLD DID U HEAR THIS?! Don't believe a word of the Da Vince Code! It is written by a human and therefore has no evidence of God's want for the world. It is completely fictional with no source of credibility in it. You should believe every word written in the Bible. Jesus died on the cross for my sins, your sins, and everybody's sins. By believing and telling God that you know Jesus died for us and that he was raised from the dead you will be saved. Please, whoever you heard this Da Vince Code nonsense from, tell them to get their sources straight. The Da Vince Code will definately not get you into heaven. Good job for having doubts!

The Davinci Code clearly says in the book that it is FICTION. What the author of this book did, was mix in a mystery novel in with a little bit of the truth from the Bible. You can't believe this book and go to heaven. You can't even believe the Bible by itself and go to heaven. You can only go to heaven by trusting God and having faith that He'll take care of you, then you have to ask Him into your heart to live and abide with you always. Then and only then will you have the assurance of going to heaven when you die.

I don't really believe anything I can't see or hear or feel.. etc. A book is a book. I believe it was written with good faith in mind, but who am I to know if God himself wanted those words to be written? And if those things truly happened? I wasn't there..

don't believe the davinchi code. It was written by Dan Brown and He is always wishy-washy on all the issues written in his book
To get to heaven, prey to God that He will make Himself known to you. He will lead to to repentance of sin and to start a relationship with Jesus Christ that will last forever.

i would have doubts too
a famous american once said "trust but verify"
we need to look at things this way
because of prophecy fulfilled in bible you can trust what it says - it basically says Jesus did it all for you he made it super easy to get to heaven just believe that what he did was good enough for you a sinner

Just let the holy ghost guide as you're reading DVC, and have faith, and I'm sure you'll see it's all true. Some think DVC is foolishness, but the devil is making them believe this, and such are perishing.
