When Christian missionaries went to the Pacific (I think) Islands, they said the islanders' sexual positions were heathen. Only the man on top position was acceptable.

It was the only allowed position for people to have sex under christian missionaries code of laws. Hence the name.
Now This has it's ups and downs, but ultimately, I've got to break tradition and go for some variety myself.

Married couples had to get the marital unpleasantness over and done with as quick as possible with as little movement as possible in the old missionary days!
