THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A FREAKING TEA CUP POODLE!!!!!!!!!! There are Toy, Miniature and Standard. Period! Breeders in breed dogs to get them smaller and smaller and unhealthy, very unhealthy and THEY call them Tea Cup and ask for big bucks for them! They are usually very sickly and live for the most part very short lives!

Too funny that the "Teacup Poodle" is still being used today. Years ago I bought a so called "teacup" who turned out as I would say to be just a tiny Toy Poodle. I will be honest all these so called "teacups" are is when a breeder, of not so good quality, breeds two runt type toy poodles to come up with a smaller pup. True these pups do not have the lifespan of a normal poodle which can be up to 20 years. My so called "teacup" passed away at the age of 9, not too young but alot younger than my regular sized poodles who lived to be 15 and 16 years old. It's sad to hear that people are breeding these poor dogs down still today knowing that they are the most likely to become ill and sick at an early age. Go with a Toy Poodle you get the same dog for alot longer and healthier life. Good luck.

As little as 1/4 of an inch. Truthfully speaking a "teacup" poodle is one that is TOO SMALL to show. There really isn't any difference between them in the USA because there is no standard height for "toy poodles" as a minimum.
