I think my main concern would be the high amount of cholesterol he's taking in. It could become an eventual health problem that you and he are destined to regret. Knowing what we know today about foods, I think it wise to allow him to have scrambled eggs, but put a limit on how many eggs (of any preparation) per week. Get him used to thinking about healthful habits at an early age. I make these comments with the assumption that he's eating more than an average amount of eggs, so much that you're concerned about him stuffing himself sick.

My brother would demand 6 eggs for breatfast, he is today a 7 ft giant of a man. So no, I don't think there would be any problem eating scrambled eggs, more healthy than the fried ones my brother ate.

If you are worried you might switch him to egg beaters instead for a while.

he might end up lacking other nutrients if he's eating ONLY scrambled eggs all day every day, but eating them for a meal with something different on the side from time to time is actually a healthy idea.

one egg has 70% of your cholesterol for a day, only put one yolk in when you scramble, he wont know the difference, its still orange looking.

all 3 of my kids love scrambled eggs too, they even want them as a snack

if you are worried that he eats too much of them do what i do

add different foods to the plate with the eggs, my kids like dry cereal, yogurt, cherry tomatoes cut in half, corn, green beans, (any cooked vegetable) lots of different fruits....just foods that they can pick up with their fingers....i think that's why they like the scrambled eggs so well, they enjoy feeding themselves.....

if you are worried about a stomach ache try scrambling the eggs in a nonstick skillet with low-fat Pam cooking spray or a tiny bit of olive oil

it is possible that the eggs could constipate him....they did my daughter....that's when i started giving her peaches with the eggs, it was a good balance!

If he loves having the yolk part, he will develop high cholesterol. At this age, make him get used to egg whites, which is extremely good for him. But don't give him the yolk often.

at that age they say they eat what they need, try mixing other stuff in with the eggs and keep trying to get him to try new things. next week he could be on a whole new kick.
