I understand how hard it can be not to cry. I have the same problem sometimes but luckily my mom doesn't get mad at me or anything for it. Lots of times I'll be told to find something that will make me laugh or at least smile. Sometimes, honestly, that doesn't work and I just have to cry. After a while, after I'm done crying, I feel a little better just to have gotten it out. But sometimes I feel silly or like I've just wasted my tears on nothing what-so-ever. I'm 16, so don't think you're alone at your age. I've just always been sensitive and I guess there's not much I can do about it. Like one other person said, try to find somewhere private to cry or ask a good friend if they'll listen to your troubles.

I figure that if you need to cry then cry. Your mom needs to understand that people are different and some are just more sensitive than others. I have five girls and one of them cries all the time and I can't even remember the last time another one of them cried. Just remember that it's ok and healthy to express your emotions. Don't hold them in that's when you run into problems because all of your feelings will bulild up and eventually you will emotionally explode. Try to explain to your mom that you aren't doing this on purpose.

Your mom needs to relax! At your age your hormones are still in flux and crying a lot isn't unusual. Try pinching your arm or just thinking really hard about something funny. Imagine saying, "Mom, you're such a beyotch" or something that will make you laugh.

When you feel that you'll cry you think about bad, bad, the worst things. Something that scares you. When you are scary you cant cry you just think. Or you must think about who made you upset and why, you think how to make him pay. Or do some bad things and then you'll feel better. So you try what i told you, and you'llsee.
Good luck.

Think of things that make your happy, or things that make you so angry that your just want to blow your head off. They will take your mind off whatever is troubling you. Or, you can find something else to occupy your mind with, like doing homework, reading a book, or cleaning your room. Or if you really need to cry, but its really bugging your mom, find somewhere private to do it, like your bathroom or your bedroom.
