first take a fresh shower and clean your private area well.
next, use a super absorbant tampon, with an overnight kotex.
powder your kotex with feminine powder (the entire length of the pad) and pop your underwear so that your body can begin to absorbe it. Add toilet tissue if it makes you feel more secure because you can always change the tissue and tampon and replace if necessary. I like to wear a light tight girdle to hold everything in place. when you feel too damp, go check yourself.
Do you have to wear white pants? Most people opt for something dark on the first 2 days. I hope this helps. Oh..take care of that yeast infection by meds and cotton panel underwear.

If I were you and had a heavy menstrual period, I dont think it would be wrong to not only use a pad, but use a tampon as well to soak up the excess blood flow coming out of you. I hope this helps a little bit :)

You have just asked the most disgusting question I've ever read on this site. Only proves that your mother did'nt teach you about your menstral cycle (shame on her!)
But at the same time,I'm also thinking:
Your not a female at all!. "YOU LOOK LIKE A MAN". A decent woman in her right mind, would not have posted such a nasty, filthy question, telling everyone, that she has an over-abundance of menstral flow, wears white pants during this time of the month on a date, and thinking about using toilet paper. (Yep!) I'm going to give YOU 10 points, just for being down-right stupid!

Get 3 sponges from your Maw's kitchen and a pine air freshener from your Paw's pickup truck. Oh and wear black or red pants tonight on your date just in case the sponges can't contain the flow. Make sure to put the air freshener inside your pants so he doesn't start asking questions or think it's a scratch and sniff.

I think the real answer to all this is...CHANGE YOUR TAMPON FREQUENTLY. Don't wear it until it's about ready to slide out because it's so gross. Sure, you can't always get to the ladies' room in time all the time, but my gosh. I hope you don't plan on having sex until after your yeast infection is cured as well. It can be passed on to your partner. If your period is all that bad, DITCH THE DATE.

Get an adult diaper and wear a nice flowing dress so he doesn't notice. Maybe wear a flower in your hair to cover the smell. I'm sure he will be too distracted by your beauty to notice any of the other stuff.

...I WOULDNT go on that date if i were u, u'll spend the whole evening feeling uncomfortable, see if u can reschedule the date.
...instead of the date, stay home and relax, but u should o'course change frequently.
and the most important thing: dont wear white pants wen ur bleeding that bad...

I've had this problem, too. I usually wear 2 or 3 pads inside a depends to contain it all. Make sure you get the pull-up depends so you can re-use them.

How often are you changing your pad? You should change your pad and tampon often. You should also invest in some FDS and some feminine cleansing wipes to help you stay clean and fresh.
