Possibly. Depends on the laws in your state, unless he just found out he is a father and you put no one on the certificate at the time of the birth.

yes putting his name on birth certificate at birth makes him liable for the child but does not give full custordail rights. you have to go to the court house for those papers

YOU MIGHT HAVE TO TAKE HIM TO COURT FOR BACK CHILD SUPPORT AND IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION. IF HE NEVER KNEW YOU WERE PREGNANT THERE MIGHT BE A CHANCE THAT THE COURT WONT MAKE HIM PAY BACK CHILD SUPPORT.
