Like through an online dating agency, a penpal site or on messenger. If so, did it work out and were they what you expected,etc?

5 years ago i found a girl on net
she was Persian like me
but i was in Iran and she in Canada
we keep talking to each other
and after some months we found we r in love
she became a part of my life
until now we meet each other in 2 short period when she travel to Iran
we were on the sky,when walking together,huging and kissing each other
those days were our best days for us
and each time after 2 months on both travels she must leave me
and this make us to cry in last day
the first day we met each other for the first time in our life after 2 years chatting,we stand in front of each other and looking at eachother.
my heart was playing too fast and i need crying
and these repeated in last days too.
when ,
she leaved me and i didn't know when can i see her again.
would i see her one more time in my life?

all these in my mind.
we couldn't marry and be with each other those days because of opposition of our familes
we are in war these days for our love

Yes, and i made a lot of mistakes too. There is a lot of difference between the person i married and myself. However, our marriage is working because we love each other and try our best to make it work. If i had to do it over i would be more patient, wait a lot longer and ask a lot of questions before i make such a serious decission as marriage. Life is full of risks and when we take chances we should be as aware as possible of what can be the consecuences. May God give you wisdom!!!

I went out ONE TIME with this guy I met on myspace. I saw a pic of him and everything. we talked on the phone a few times and we got along great! we both had the same sense of humor and he was cute. we both decided to meet up on a date. he was slightly not what I expected. he was way, WAY shorter than me and he was extremely geeky. but I still liked him. I love geeky guys and height was no problem for me. but in the end, we decided that we would just be friends because of the distance. I would recommend talking to this person for a few weeks before meeting up so that you don't end up with a phychopath. ask them why their last relationship didn't work out and what they are looking for in a new one. make sure that he is not an asshole.

Nope yet I virtually did as quickly as i became a junior in extreme college and now that i think back to it, that's fairly frightening. i became chatting with this guy on AOL that supposedly went to a extreme college interior the subsequent city over. i became sixteen on the time and he suggested he became 17. i met my girlfriend on ICQ 4 years ago. We've been together ever since. I love her and shes all that i wanted. We've had some issues of course having to learn about them all over when we moved in together. Also I am american and she is canadian so we have the whole immigration issue. i would never wish the immigration barrier on anyone who fell in love. it sux.

yes i have dated someone on the net. i knew him very well and we were the best of friends before we dated. however the relationship didn't go to well. we broke up cuz my friend fell for him and he fell for my friend. it's a long story. so yea, it didn't work out but it made me realize if ya date someone on the net, its gonna be a lot of work.
