My man keeps mentioning that he is going to get me pregnant the first time we have sex. Then he will be like we'll wait until you have your business straight. Is he really serious about a baby

Sounds like ego to me, then when called on it he back pedals because he is not sure. Having and making a baby can be intimidating and some men feel like it is a test of their virility to get a girl pregnant first time or everytime.
I would cuddle up to him and tell him that you hope he doesn't get you pregnant first time, so that you have lots of reasons to keep trying. He will like that idea and perhaps can relax. Babies come when they come.

Who cares what he wants . Do not get pregnant. Do not have sex with this control freak. Run away from this maniac. Long after he is gone the child will live on.
