Please don't give me the defra website, it is of no use to me, I've read it a thousand times and I'm still confused. I was told, I need pet passports for all of my pets (3 cats, 1 dog) to go to the U.K. Where do I get these? I live in a town called Philipsburg in Pennsylvania, if you do a search for my town and things near it I could use, that would be great. You'll also find there is absolutely nothing in my town. Is there any idea how much these cost? Also, I need to buy cages for my pets to go on the plane, I was looking at petsmart at cages and is there any specification? My dog is a rottweiler who probably weighs 90 - 100 pounds or more. My cats are fat too, one is about 15lbs, and the other two are about 10 lbs. Any information on things I need from my vet, certificates I know I need, what are they? How do I get them? I know I need microchips, rabies, wormed and so on... I know they have to wait 6 months after the rabies shot to go in, can I keep them in my home for that time?

I am moving there. And you can't smuggle a 100 pound dog and 3 cats onto a plane... and I wouldn't risk them getting killed or me going to jail over this.

Yeah, contact the embassy and the airline for all the paperwork you'll need.

If you look in Yellow pages there will be companies there who deal with the transportation of pets to all destinations. They will need to be in quarantine for about 6 months before allowed into the UK, but will need all sorts of inoculations including rabies as we don't have rabies in the UK. No you cannot keep them in your home they have to stay at the appointed kennels at or near the airport. I understand that you may visit them but you have to pay the kennel fees too for the 6 months, it will cost you a fortune, hope that you are very wealthy.

LOLZ.. K .. I WORKED FOR AN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINE...
ALL U NEED IS ALL KIND OF SHOT INCLUDED RABIE SHOT FRM THE VET. AND CALL THE AIRLINE UP FOR THE FARE. YOU DON'T NEED THE PASSPORT FOR THEM.. ALL AIRLINE RULES ARE A LIL BIT DIFF. I WORKED FOR KOREAN AIRLINE SO THE FLIGHT DURATION WAS LONGER. YOU HAVE TO CHECK W/ THEM B/C THEY COULD ACCEPT PET DEPEND ON THE AIRCRAFT. SOME AIR CRAFT INCLUDED CARGO SO THE TEMP. WILL BE 2 COLD FOR UR PET AND THEY COULD DIE DOWN THERE.
SO TO MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR YOU.. PLEASE CALL THE AIRLINE UP AND ASK THEM.. THEN GO TO THE AIRPORT B/C THE AGENT THAT U SPEAK ON THE PHONE SOMETIME WILL GIVE U A DIFF. ANSWER THAN THE ONE THAT WORKS AT THE AIRPORT..
ACCORDING TO KE.. UR PET HAS TO HAVE THE SHOT AT LEAST 1 MTH B4 DEPARTURE OR ELSE THE IMMIGRATION WILL KEEP THEM AT THE AIRPORT TILL THEY'RE OK'D TO GO.. SO AGAIN.. DON'T CHECK THE WEBSITE.. CALL THE AIRLINES..
