I want to make the man I am with feel important, but I don't know how. This has been a problem in every relationship that I have had. They leave me because they doen't feel important. I want to learn so that I can be with my honey forever.

Buy him special, very personal gifts. Have a candle light dinner waiting for him when he gets home from work. Watch his favorite tv show/sport with him without 'talk'. Make sure you are always open and honest about your feelings... don't make every problem or fight, all about you!
Do little things that you know he likes or makes him happy. Things that seem very unimportant to you, may be very important to him. watch him very closely one day, watch how he makes his coffee, watch his morning routine, what his evening routine... get in sync with him so that you have things ready, before he is ready to do that routine.

just give him a lot of attention. ask what you can do to make him feel important too.

Just be yourself, don't act stupid or cute or stuff, just show him, and dont pretend that you have the same intrests as him. Such as, if he likes sports and you dont, dont pretend that you like them.

Just be yourself is all you can do.
You can cater all you want to them and they will still find something to complain about.

ask him if he would love no matter what. then reply if he says yes that you love him very much because of that.
