Pilates will sure tone you, if it's done consistently, but for weight loss you'll have to do something more strenuous, like fast walking, swimming, running, treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike,kickboxing, tae bo, dancing, aerobics. Only moving and getting your heart rate up will take excess weight off, plus watching your food intake.
Consider this: Cut your portions in half. Limit these foods to once a week: cheeses, sodas, sugary treats, fast foods, fried foods. Have one day a week only that you eat whatever you want to. Hope some of this helps you.....

Pilates is excellent! I am 5'4 and was 136 pounds after eating much healthier and pilates I'm now 108 pounds...too skinny?...don't think so...cuz you will still have your butt a breast but much perkier. You can do it trust me.

odds are you re eating too fast try holding a conversation while having a meal so you re not gulping down more than you need to feel full
