The only way I can really explain 'true love' is that you are sooooooo much alike, love, respect, and cherish each other sooooo much, that you know no other could be this way with you. Do this make any sense?

When I was married to my ex husband, I thought I was in love, and young and naive me probably was for quite sometime. But, then he decided to disrespect me by lying, cheating, using/abusing drugs, and abusing me.

Since I divorced him, I found someone that is the total opposite of my ex. He doesn't believe in lying, cheating, abusing, etc. We have soooooooooo many things in common. The few things that we don't have in common are just enough to make things interesting and fun. He treats me like a God and has me on a pedestal and won't let me down, and I am the same with him.

With true love, you DON'T disrespect each other or abuse each other. You DO love, respect, and cherish each other, always treating each other with love and kindness. You can just feel it in your heart and soul that this is a different type of love than you have ever had. It's someone that you definitely could see yourself spending the rest of your life with and being happy the whole time.
